Lo Profundo is an invitation into the kind of depth that most souls spend their entire lives circling without ever fully entering. The depth of the self, of the earth, of the ancient intelligence that has been forming, crystallising and patiently waiting within the body of this stone for millions of years before it ever arrived in human hands.
This pendant was carved from dendritic agate — one of the most extraordinary and ancient stones in the mineral world. Its name comes from the Greek word dendron — tree. And as you look closely at what lives within it, branching formations of manganese and iron oxide that have crystallised over millions of years into the precise shape of roots, of trees, of lightning frozen mid-strike. Formed entirely by the intelligence of the earth itself, working slowly, patiently and in the dark exactly as the most profound transformations always do.
The copper setting rises on either side in feather-like detailing with wings of the earth cradling what lives within.
