The Birthing Of The Sovereign Woman Returns…

This initiation was born through me during one of the most profound seasons of my life.

I had just returned home to Australia after living in Peru for eleven months, entangled in people, places and energies that invited me to meet some of my deepest shadows. It was there that I came face to face with all the ways I had been abandoning myself in the pursuit of being liked, loved and chosen.

By the time I returned home, I felt like a shell of a woman. Like I had wandered so far from myself that I had completely forgotten who I was.

There came a moment where I met my threshold. The moment where something within me whispered…

I cannot live like this anymore.

I felt so alone. So misunderstood. Like a fish out of water returning to modern society after living in the depths of the Amazon jungle and amongst the sacred mountains of the Andes, where life is woven into ceremony, community and the rhythms of the Earth. Returning to the noise, the busyness, the endless distractions and the pull of technology felt almost unbearable. I could feel myself slipping further away from the woman I knew I truly was.

Yet beneath all of it, something deeper remained.

I knew there was a way home.

I had walked this path before.

Through dietas in the Amazon jungle. Through solitude. Through returning to my body, my breath and my voice. Through switching the world off long enough to hear what my soul had been whispering beneath all of the noise.

I realised I had never been searching for something outside of myself.

I had everything I needed within me.

Now it was time to gather every piece of myself home again and follow the rhythms, the symbols and the mythology that were quietly calling me forward.

I became my own safest place, my own best friend and I became radically honest with myself.

I began asking the questions I had spent so long avoiding…

Where am I abandoning myself? Where am I choosing everyone else before I choose myself?

From there, everything began to unravel…

I began to unbind.

To shed.

To spiral.

To remember.

And somewhere within that unfolding, I realised I had a choice.

A choice to devote to myself completely.

To become unwavering in who I was.

To stop seeking permission to become the woman I already knew myself to be.

It was through this initiation that I began to write again.

To create again.

To remember what I had come here to offer this world.

As I walked this path, I felt the grief, the tenderness and the deep compassion for every woman who had forgotten herself.

Every woman who had shaped herself to belong. Every woman who carried the quiet ache of knowing there had to be more than surviving.

This was never just my story.

It was ours.

And from that remembrance, The Sovereign Woman Returns began to birth itself through me.

Not as something to teach.

But as something to live.

An invitation to return to the wisdom that has always lived within us.

To unbind.

To remember.

And to devote ourselves to the truth of who we have always been.
