Each raw clear quartz point was first placed upon a sacred altar deep in the heart of the Amazon jungle held in ceremony, in prayer, in the living intelligence of the forest. And then the fire came..
A powerful blaze was set alight by a burning candle on the altar — unexpected, consuming and absolutely transforming. These crystals did not shatter, they withstood the pressure of the short time that they were set alight. After the fire was extinguished each crystal was carried to the healing waters of the Hampi Mayu river — Hospital del Río, the river that heals to renew and tend to each piece with tender, loving care.
There they were bathed, cleansed, sung to and as the began returning to themselves not as they were before, but as something more. Reborn through the most ancient and elemental alchemy available on this earth. Fire first. Then water. Death, and then the river singing them back into life.
A bronze serpent coils around each crystal point — the ancient guardian of transformation, the keeper of what has been shed and what has been revealed. The serpent that moves through fire and water with equal grace. Adorned above with either Lágrimas de Virgen — sacred seeds of protection, unconditional love and devotion or ancient filograna designs in bronze, rooted in the iconography of the northern Peruvian coastline.
And at the top is a single seed bead, like a prayer bead, like the first drop of water after the fire. Holding the whole story together.
