La Descendida — The One Who Descended
La Descendida is an invocation for the queen who has made the sacred journey downward into the depths of herself, into the places most are too afraid to go and returned carrying something no one can take from her.
Wild in their form. Precise in their medicine. Bronze serpents coil upward around each stone — ancient guardians of transformation, of death and rebirth, of the wisdom that can only be found in the descent. And crowning the top is ancient filograna designs in bronze, rooted in the sacred iconography of the northern Peruvian coastline — the mark of the initiate who has been through the fire and emerged sovereign.
